Love Fullerton 2017
For the past 2 years, GCS has sponsored the annual Love Fullerton event as a Silver Sponsor and joined the community of volunteers from the city government, organizations, schools, and churches to serve the city of Fullerton. On April 29th, Love Fullerton 2017 had its opening at the Fullerton Downtown Plaza.
This year, middle, high, and college students from the Grace Ministries International English Ministry, joined us to serve the Fullerton community. Our service projects included planting trees on the hills surrounding the Fullerton Sports Complex as well as cleaning and clearing a vacant lot. It was a joyful time as we worked hard and sweat together in our red shirts to help beautify our neighborhood. Thanks to Love Fullerton and generous sponsors, we were able to share breakfast and lunch with our hearts full of blessing. This year we were thankful to have the opportunity to set up a booth to distribute free water bottles and pens to volunteers and meet many wonderful people from the community we love to serve. 지역사회를 섬기는 지역사회 봉사활동 (Love Fullerton 2017)이 올해도 지난 달 4월 29일 풀러튼 다운타운 광장에서 열렸습니다. 이번에도 은혜교회 EM 학생들이 중등부에서 대학부에 이르기까지 함께 참여하여 플러튼 스포츠 컴플렉스 주변의 묘목을 심고 주변을 청소하였습니다. 함께 땀 흘리며 우리가 살고 있는 지역을 아름답게 하는 일에 참여한 모든 봉사자들에게 보람되고 기쁜 시간이 되었읍니다. 멋진 티셔츠도 받고 맛있는 아침과 점심도 나누며, 오히려 섬기는 기회를 통하여 보람되고 행복한 시간을 갖게 된 것에 감사한 시간이었습니다. 은혜봉사쎈터 (GCS)는 올해에도 작년에 이어 러브 플러튼의 Silver Sponsor로 그리고 더 나아가 Booth도 세우고 병물과 빵 그리고 일할 때 쓰는 장갑들과 볼펜등을 나누며 커뮤니티에 더 많은 것을 나눌 수 있어서 더욱 감사했습니다. 후원자님들과 봉사자분들께 감사드립니다.
